Rapid fluid and blood administration is essential in emergency medicine, trauma care, operating rooms, intensive care units (ICUs), and interventional procedures. Pressure infusion bags play a critical role in accelerating the delivery of blood products, saline, and other intravenous fluids when every second counts.
As healthcare facilities continue to invest in advanced diagnostic imaging and patient safety, MRI-compatible pressure infusion bags are becoming increasingly popular. Hospitals are looking for products that not only deliver reliable performance but also improve workflow, reduce equipment replacement costs, and enhance patient safety throughout the entire treatment process.
An MRI-compatible pressure infusion bag is designed to safely operate in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) environments without interfering with imaging quality or being affected by strong magnetic fields.
MRI Safe is defined as any object, device, implant,or equipment that poses no known hazards in the MRI Environment-meaning they have no magnetic pull and are perfectly safe to enter the MRI scan.
The entire pressure infusion bag assembly is not MRI Safe,as there is metal used in
the gauge.Only the bag, tube, clamp and fitting are MRI Safe. The bag assembly must be detached from the inflator with the gauge prior to introduction into the MRI Environment.
How to use it?
1. Prepare I.V. Pressure infusion bag for use following directions on the bag.
2. For MRI use, clamp the tubing for the pressure infusion bag then disconnect the inflator at the fitting.See picture below.
3. The inflator should not go into the MRI field.Metal in the gauge may interfere with the magnetic field used to create a MRI image and can cause a safety hazard.
4. To deflate bag bladder, open the clamp.
The primary advantage is compatibility with MRI suites.
MRI Safe eliminate the risk associated with magnetic attraction while minimizing image interference, making the product suitable for MRI-guided procedures and critically ill patients requiring continuous infusion.
Pressure infusion bags are designed to rapidly infuse:
· Blood products
· Saline solution
· Contrast media
· Emergency intravenous fluids
Maintaining stable pressure significantly reduces infusion time during emergency situations, helping healthcare professionals respond more efficiently.
Reusable pressure infusion bags provide excellent long-term value for hospitals.
Benefits include:
· Lower replacement frequency
· Reduced medical waste
· Lower overall procurement costs
· Sustainable purchasing solution
As hospitals increasingly focus on cost control and environmental responsibility, reusable medical devices are becoming an attractive investment.
Models equipped with a piston gauge allow healthcare professionals to monitor inflation pressure clearly and maintain the recommended operating pressure throughout the infusion process.
Consistent pressure contributes to more stable infusion performance and improved clinical efficiency.
Market size
Disposable infusion pressure bags are the fastest-growing niche market. In 2025, the market size is about 3.52-3.88 billion US dollar.
The global rise in emergency medicine, trauma care, cardiovascular procedures, and intensive care services continues to drive demand for reliable rapid infusion products.
Pressure infusion bags remain essential accessories in:
· Emergency Departments (ED)
· Intensive Care Units (ICU)
· Operating Rooms (OR)
· Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories
· Anesthesia Departments
· Ambulance and Emergency Transport
Hospitals worldwide are expanding MRI-guided diagnostics and interventions.
This trend creates growing demand for MRI-compatible medical accessories that allow uninterrupted patient treatment while maintaining safety inside MRI environments.
MRI-compatible pressure infusion bags are increasingly specified in hospital purchasing requirements for new imaging centers and advanced healthcare facilities.

May be you will ask compared with your competitors, what are the main advantages of your products?
We would like to tell you that Our products is single-handed inflation and deflation design make it easy for clinical operation. Besides, air leakage and poor pressure retention are the most common defects of mainstream pressure infuser bags on the market. In contrast, we implement rigorous full-inspection quality control for every finished unit, and our bags can maintain stable pressure for 24 hours without leakage. All core components are manufacture in our factory, allowing us to supervise the entire production chain and fully guarantee consistent quality. Many peers outsource the spare parts and perform assembly, which leads to unstable product quality in many cases.
As medical imaging technology continues to evolve and emergency care standards continue to improve, MRI-compatible pressure infusion bags are expected to become a preferred solution for healthcare providers worldwide.
Combining patient safety, rapid infusion performance, reusable design, and MRI compatibility, these products offer hospitals an effective solution that meets both current clinical needs and future healthcare trends.
Whether for emergency medicine, critical care, anesthesia, or MRI-guided procedures, investing in high-quality MRI-compatible pressure infusion bags helps improve clinical efficiency while supporting safer patient care.
